Op donderdag 4 september 2025 vindt de jaarlijkse conferentie van het REKA netwerk plaats. Tijdens deze bijeenkomst gaan we samen met experts, beleidsmakers, ondernemers, journalisten en studenten in gesprek over de laatste ontwikkelingen in en om Oost-Europa. Dit doen we zowel plenair als in 13 deelsessies in 3 rondes. Ook is er door de dag heen uitgebreid de mogelijkheid om te netwerken.

This event is aimed to bring together policymakers, human rights advocates, and individuals who remain committed to supporting those individuals who are currently imprisoned for their political beliefs and activism.

The conference will provide a unique opportunity for experts and activists from the South Caucasus, the EU and beyond to engage in meaningful discussions on the EU's role in the South Caucasus amidst rapidly changing domestic and regional dynamics. The key role of Türkiye in the region will also be on the agenda.

Namens de Rusland & Oost-Europa Kennis Alliantie (REKA) nodigen wij u graag uit voor het symposium Oekraïne in de EU: geopolitieke en economische kansen op maandag 4 maart aanstaande van 12:30 uur tot 16:30 uur in Internationaal Perscentrum Nieuwspoort in Den Haag.

Op maandag 30 oktober organiseert Raam op Rusland, in samenwerking met De Rode Hoed, de zevende Oktoberlezing. Net als vorig jaar wordt de lezing ook dit jaar gegeven door een Oekraïense gast: Daria Kaleniuk van het Anti-corruptie Actiecentrum (AntAC) uit Kyiv.

Op 6 juli vindt de jaarlijkse REKA-conferentie plaats. Tijdens deze besloten bijeenkomst gaan experts, beleidsmakers, ondernemers en journalisten in gesprek over het Nederlandse Oost-Europa beleid en welke kansen dit biedt.

On June 28, the Russia and Eastern Europe Knowledge Alliance (REKA) organised an online event titled A new reality in Eastern Europe. We discussed this new reality with representatives of knowledge institutions, the government and media in the Netherlands. Because what are the consequences of the Russian invasion of Ukraine for both countries, Europe as a whole and the Netherlands in particular? Both the opening session and the panel discussion were livestreamed from 14:00 until 15:30.
