Kazachstan: geen erkenning separatisten Donbas

Ondanks het feit dat Rusland begin dit jaar militair intervenieerde tegen massademonstraties in Kazachstan, probeert de grootste voormalige Sovjetrepubliek in Centraal-Azië nog steeds afstand te houden tot de regering in Moskou. President Tokajev distantieert zich zelfs expliciet van de Russische politiek om Oekraïne op te splitsen. Kazachstan heeft een grote Russische minderheid, die de Russen tot militaire avonturen zou kunnen verleiden.
