Van 13 t/m 15 november 2025 organiseert het Nederlands Instituut Petersburg (NIP) in samenwerking met de Radboud Universiteit een meerdaags programma over de toekomst en continuïteit van de Russische studies in Nijmegen aan de RU.

On Friday 16 June 2023, the Institute for Eastern Christian Studies (IvOC) celebrates the first anniversary of the Platform Oosters Christendom. There is a uniquely interactive programme designed around the theme “Orthodoxy on the move”, complete with short seminars and a panel discussion with renowned speakers.

Op maandag 28 maart om 19 uur (Nederlandse tijd, GMT +2) vindt er weer een nieuwe editie van onze online leesclub voor Russische literatuur plaats. Dit keer gaat Julia Sjabarova samen met de deelnemers een verhaal van Viktor Goljavkin bestuderen. 

Op 17 maart neemt het eerste literaire seminar voor neerlandici plaats. Onder begeleiding analyseren studenten het verhaal van de Nederlandse klassieker W. F. Hermans.

Op 15 maart vindt de eerste literaire werkgroep voor slavisten plaats. Onder begeleiding van Yulia Sjabarova analyseren studenten de poëzie van Nina Allakhverdova.

Rusland is wereldberoemd om zijn filmklassiekers. Eisenstein, Tarkovski, en Sokoerov zijn slechts enkele van de vele beroemde namen binnen de wereld van Russische film.

Op dit moment staan vooral geopolitieke en militaire duidingen van de oorlog in Oekraïne op de voorgrond, maar tijdens deze middag ligt de focus op culturele, historische en taalkundige achtergronden van deze crisissituatie.

In 2022 wordt het NIP 25 jaar en daarom organiseren we een reeks evenementen in het kader van een literair en vertaalprogramma ‘Lees en Vertaal’.
