The Netherlands and Russia both do not support any programs for bilateral scientific cooperation, even though Russia does have similar agreements with Germany, France, Austria and Flanders (Belgium).

To meet the demand for bilateral scientific diplomacy, several Russian and Dutch universities will organize a multidisciplinary scientific forum on November 25, 2021. At this event, scientists and scholars from the disciplines of humanities and physics will convene.

The day will be filled with a number of lectures held by prominent scientists from both Russia and the Netherlands, as well as a brainstorming session with scientists and stake-holders in research funding.
